The French government offers a valuable financial aid program for international students known as CAF, proving to be a true blessing. This assistance is particularly beneficial for students residing in studios or shared apartments, as they can receive a monthly allowance ranging from €200 to €180.

The amount allocated through CAF depends on various factors, including your place of residence, the rent you pay, and your income from the past two years.

  1. Who is Eligible?
    • Individuals currently renting or sharing an apartment.
    • No direct association with the landlord.
    • Possession of a long-term student resident permit.
    • Residing for a minimum of 8 months in a year (subletting is not permissible for CAF qualification), and the housing rental agreement should be in your name.
